Hit the Red River this morning with Scott. Ended up with a handful of fish. Nothing to big, but all the fish were fat and healthy so there must be some bait coming through when they are generating. Best fish of the trip went about 6-6.5 lbs
Fantastic! That is a great healthy looking striper. Glad some fish are starting to show up again. Were you fishing sinking lines and deep diving for them? After this huge freeze I'm going to head out there and try to sting a few. Hopefully I will run into you some time.
Yes I was using sinking lines, pretty much the only way I fish up there. We'll see when the weather clears up I may try to make it back up there this weekend. Let me know if you do any good up there.
